I am abe to reproduce the behavior just as you have described. It appears to have been fixed. The reason why you can still experience it is because you are still testing on an older version of the app. The fix shoud be live in their next version release, hopefully.

I like the manner in which you described the actual and expected behaviors. It made for an easy read. The steps also, were easy to follow :)
