I was able to reproduce the behavior. I get where you are coming from, the default back button is available on all android devices. And by default, a double tap should exit any application.

It is particularly strange when this does not apply to an application.

The steps you provided were easy to walk through. Well, it's a simple bug so it shouldn't be so hard.

The expected behavior should be at the start of the post, followed by the actual behavior. I think the tip I gave in your last report may have been confusing to you, I am sorry about that.. You can look up the link below for a proper break down of the bug hunting template :
