I was able to reproduce the behavior you correctly described. The home icon when clicked, redirects the user to the author's feed. This constitutes a strange user experience considering a user would normally expect the home icon to imply the home feeds.

I like the manner in which you explained your findings, the actual and expected behaviors are well written.

The steps you provided were easy to walk through, ensuring swift reproduction of the bug in question.

Depending on your technical background, are you aware that you can include in your reports an analysis of what possibly led to the weird navigation? You could also propose a fix. Doing any of these will further add value to the reports.
