I have some problems with SteemPlus and I didn't know if this was the appropriate venue.
for one...I don't get the split screen on the text editor (my main concern)
for another it seem to freeze on ocassion.
oh...and it tends to slow down somewhat.
other that that it's a pretty good thing.

For the reactivity issues, we ve identified two issues so far and are working on it to make it faster. However, we depend on lots of 3rd parties, and in those cases, we cannot do anything abt their response time. If you identify a particular situation that leads to a freeze or slow down, please let me know!
As for the split screen, I don t see any issue with it. Which version of SteemPlus / which browser are you using?
by 'splilt screen' i mean the preview beside the editor instead of below it.
it's still below it but it's been scrunched over to make room for the preview but it's not there.
as for the 'freezes'...i dunno which did it...I just know that it happened...it might be the delays that you mentioned.
I just downloaded my version the other day..I'm using Opera.
I also use Opera and have the split screen preview (it onl appears after you start typing though).
I ll make some tests to try to find what could cause these freezes. Thanks for letting me know!
Hey! I think I know what happened! If you zoom on your browser page then the proportions won t be taken into account and the preview will fall under your new post. If you put the zoom back at 100% it should correct the problem! Let me know if this works

I just tried...I zoomed to the smallest size possible.
the editor and the preview were still stacked.
Odd thing...when I use the editor there is plenty of ROOM for side by side.
the editor is 'squished' compared to what it is on the Steemit Editor.
But...nothing is there.

You mean not filtering out 0.001 messages if they are encrypted?
The thing is that if we do that, spammers will just start encrypting their messages to get around it at some point. You can easily remove the filter and look for the lines in italic, they correspond to private memos
