in #utopian-io7 years ago (edited)

Components

Social Chat is an open source android app for end to end messaging for making your own app.

Proposal

I have obeserved after weeks of using the platform some security challenges as expressed the my video.

for improved security
  1. Password validation blocking commonly used passwords like '1111111', etc. and minimum required characters.
  2. Comfirm password field.
  3. Email verification upon signup

Mockup

This is how the suggestions will look when implemented,

Benefits

The above suggestions will improve security in the app by reducing spam via email verification, it will make users choose more secure passwords and also allow users remember their passwords more by asking them to 'confirm password'
