Adding polls to your blog post

Your vote matters!

So i am pretty new to steemit, but i am already completely in love! There is so much to give, and so much to gain to/ from this wonderful site. But i have a small suggestion that would make the site even better, in my opinion.

Let your voices be heard

I would love to be able to make a poll as a part of my posts.

I recently started working on my version of a physical steem coin, which will be 3D printed, and passed around to strangers, in order to spread awareness of steemit.
But as i get more into the process i would like to have some input from my followers as to how it should take shape. Should it have a QR code, should it be slim or fat, should it be white or black etc.
In order to make this as simple as possible, it would be very nice to have a poll feature, so people can vote on whatever they find is the most important.
I feel like people are doing a lot of important stuff on this site, where the decision should not be made by a single person.

I would therefore like to propose that a poll function is implemented, so we can add these as part of our blog posts. It is a pretty simple feature, but it would add a lot of value to this already awesome site :)

Have a great day people!

Welcome to steam it I am having a great time here and so will you.Have a great day as well

Well until it gets added, if it gets added, you could get creative with links using something like the free google hosted sites and some javascript to actually count the number of people that click on a link and then have it redirect back to this page so that by simply clicking on a link it would activate a poll. Once they click on the link and get redirected the javascript on the original site could modify an image slightly and then you could use that image on your blog creating a dynamic poll system... but it would be a lot of javascript and difficult... But its just a thought

I believe there are even javascript php wrappers that allow you to use php functions so that if someone from a specific IP address has already voted it would remove their previous vote and vote into the new category....

Yeah, you could make two Google Shortener links with both linking back to Steemit. You just keep up with which is yes and which is no.

For example,

Should Steemit create a polling option?
Yes
No

The danger of this method is clicking a malicious link, so the only people that could viably do that are people that are highly trusted on Steemit. (Just to be clear, those links come back to this page.)
