Introduction

Good day,
I have for quite some time been thinking about the idea of a Utopian app, being a user of the steemit app (esteem). Using the esteem app turned out to be more stressful for the user than using it directly on a browser. There has been a lot of complaint from users of the app which has led to the release of updates with bug fixes and 'so called' better features. But i'm still presently a user of the app and there has not yet been any substantial improvement in the usability of the app. So in this post i'm going to give my suggestions about how i feel a utopian android and ios app should be because i'm a big fan of this platform.

Concept.

In coming up with a concept for a Utopian app, i based the concept idea on the Utopian.io platform
workings and its reward system. I'm also taking into consideration, the state of the esteem app and offering a faster and more user friendly interface. The purpose of this app will be to give users a faster and easier access to the platform.

Proposal

The app must require the user to sign in using his steemit login details in order to access the features of the app. The app will have a notification system in which to alert the user about the status of his contribution even without opening the app. I also would suggest the app having its very own in-built browser incase of a redirection to steemit in order not to have to exit or minimize the app.

App Accessibility
The app, most importantly should be made available on the two biggest operating systems which are Android and IOS

User Friendliness

The app must very importantly, be user friendly in order to induce a preference of accessing the platform on the app over accessing it on a browser. The developer must make it easy for users to navigate the app and have an even better experience on the app than on the browser.

There are several benefits that will be gained by the Utopian team if an ap is released.

1. It will serves an an extra source of income due to the traffic generated from app downloads

2. It will create more awareness of Utopian.io

3, It can serve as another means of advertising the platform and gain witness votes

. 4. Hence it will lead to more open source contributions.

I hope the Utopian team can take this into consideration and hopefully implement it.
