Utopian-io Bot Analysis : Top 20 Contributors - Steemit Business Intelligence
Just before @utopian-io's voting (that is currently on-going), I extracted the data via steem.sql for analysis. This will be the performance of the bot prior to the big delegations.
Data was extracted today 2017/11/08 06:11H UTC. There were a total of 716 posts analyzed.
Just to reiterate, these posts were posts voted by the bot. It does not include other contributions that were not voted on.
Posts By App
Not all posts were made through utopian. Here, we see that there are posts made through Steemit and busy.org.
Naturally, most of the posts (72%) were made using utopian.io, 24% were made through Steemit, and the remaining 4% were through busy.org.
Here's the data in table format:
Application | Post Count |
---|---|
utopian/1.0.0 | 518 |
steemit/0.1 | 174 |
busy/2.0.0 | 24 |
Grand Total | 716 |
Posts By Category
Next, let's look at the post per category.
We can see here that the top-most category where contributions are posted are in the Ideas/Feature category with 277 posts (39%). Next to that is Bug-Hunting with 118 posts (16%), then translations with 100 (14%). Development, one of the categories I contribute to is at 4th with 70 posts (10%), and the least announcement-development with 4 posts (1%).
Here's the data in table format:
Category | Post Count |
---|---|
ideas | 277 |
bug-hunting | 118 |
translations | 100 |
development | 70 |
graphics | 54 |
null | 43 |
social | 20 |
documentation | 20 |
analysis | 10 |
announcement-development | 4 |
Note: The 'null' category you see here are for posts not made through utopian.io.
Average Voting Weight Per Category
Let us now look at bot's voting weight prior to the change in voting weight today.
Again, the null
category here are for posts not made using utopian.io.
Because these were posts made in a different application, the metadata (the field is json_metadata
) that marks these posts under a certain category are missing.
So skipping or removing this will give us the following:
We can see here that the categories Announcements ("announcement-development"), Development, Translations, and Social range around 60% voting weight. Bug Hunting is at 56%. While Documentation, Graphics, Ideas, and Analysis range in the 40% to 50% voting weight.

nice to see a statistics update! So @elear took back the lead in the number of posts :)
Thanks @crokkon. I didn't want to overlap with what you're already doing so I took on the topic wherein posts considered were only those that were voted on.
