Add Feature to Show Blog Posts from Users Marked as "See Posts First"
Have you been frustrated of missing out posts from leaders you follow? How about posts from your close friends? I have and it doesn't feel good.
Yes, you can call these announcements, but are they all? Aren't there just normal posts but yet you would like to see first? Well, that's what this feature is about.
Yes, there are ways you can work around this like trimming down who you follow, but not everyone wants to do that. Can you imagine the steps involved to filter out who to follow and who not to? Yeah, it gives me a headache just thinking about it.
Another workaround - how about bookmarking each person's profile and visiting them to check if they've posted? Hmmm. next question please.
1. Proposal
With this, I propose to have a "See First" option for people you follow. Similar to what's available in another social networking platform (I won't give too much info, but it starts with an "F". Also, I hope the following image won't give too much away):
This way, I retain who I follow, and a special flag for people whose posts I want to see first. Feeds from these people will then show at the top of my feed first (perhaps add a divider?)... a sorting of sort.

How about the Follow/Unfollow button?
These are the areas we need to consider in adding this function.
3. Proposed Layout
3.1. See First Dropdown
First, the "See First" button. Why not just pattern with the image above? Instead of the "Unfollow" button why not replace it with a dropdown like so?
See First, Default, Unfollow looks good to me.
3.2. The Feed
There will be no change in the feed. It will all be just sorted according to the user's you've flagged to see first, and then just sort them in descending order by post date. The "See First" posts at the top first, and then succeeding for those that were not flagged.

Thanks bro! Yeah, it's frustrating to sift through posts and never knowing that there were posts by peoply you want to see first. Will try to implement this and suggest it to Steemit for review.
I hope that they implement this, it will make steemit feel like an upgraded social media pag nagkataon haha, good luck :-)
