A.I. Machine learning curating Bot.

My idea/contribution for Utopian-io is developing a bot that, through machine learning, will master the art of curating for profit.

How would this work? Well... I am not a developer so what I can share with you is just my idea. What I have been thinking about is a bot or tool, that will keep track of every upvote you give. It will collect all the crucial information of each one of your upvotes.

What is this crucial information?

• The time frame, which means how old was the post when you upvoted it.
• Your voting weight and voting power at the moment of the upvote.
• How many upvotes there were before yours and how is your vote ranked amongst the other ones.
  For example: voted at 25 minutes, with 40% of voting weight, and 88% of voting power. The post had 7 upvotes, yours was the 8th and got ranked 4th. Makes sense?

Here you can see how old the post is and how many upvotes it has already.

I think this information is very important at the moment of learning how curation rewards work. But in order to maximize the rewards, one needs to compare how you vote with the rewards you get (a week later) It can be tricky, because at the moment you receive the curation rewards you are very likely to have forgotten how you upvoted that post.

Here you can see that I upvoted this post, and how my vote was ranked between the others (5th).

Having a tool that keeps track of all your upvotes and keeps a record all this crucial information will be very useful for those trying to master the art of curating for profits. Since this is a lot of information for one to manually take notes, I think that a tool/app/bot will be super helpful.

Now is when it gets interesting. Because my idea also includes machine learning to "train" the bot to recognize patrons and realize what is the best way to upvote for juicy curations. The bot will read the data, and compare the results. Then it will see which votes gave the best rewards, and will copy those. With time the bot will only be giving votes that are very lucrative curation wise. It might take some time but it will get there. Machine learning gives such amazing results it will be interesting to see them. Pattern recognition is crucial here, since there will be a lot of data stored, so the goal is for the bot is to go through all the data and tolearn which votes gave the best results.

I imagine it like this. You write a list of authors you like supporting and upvoting. You could even set a limit, lets say... only vote when the voting power is between 75% and 100%. So at 74.5% it will stop upvoting, even if there is a chance for a profitable upvote.

How would this bot benefit the platform? I think that giving investors the tools to get a good flow if income from their investments is great. If there is a bot that will help me get lets say 0.5% (well above average) of my SP back in weekly curation rewards, I will be a lot more tempted to invest big.

Also it could help Utopian.io to curate for profit to earn Steem to pay its contributors back.

To sum up I would like to briefly explain how Machine Learning works: It basically is a series of algorithms that make your device or app to be artificially intelligent. With patron recognition and comparing the stored data the bot will know what to upvote and when.
