Sub-Project | OhSteem: A Logic Game (Design/Github/Roadmap)
OhSteem is a game based on 0hh1. It is a lovely little logic game by Q42.

0h h1 follows three simple rules:
- Three red tiles or three blue tiles next to each other in a row or column isn't allowed
- A full row or column must have as many blue tiles as it has red ones.
- No two rows are the same. No two columns either.
It's up to you to complete the grid without ever having to guess. Simply tap a tile to make it blue or red and complete the grid. 0h h1 gives you unlimited puzzles in four grid sizes:
- 4 x 4
- 6 x 6
- 8 x 8
- 10 x 10
Each puzzle can be played in perfect Zen mode without any pressure. But you can attempt to beat your personal best time in the game's time trials, unlock fun achievements and compete with friends in leaderboards.
Sub-Project Proposal
OhSteem will play by the same rules - the only difference will be the design, there will be simple changes on the aesthetics (e.g: colors, icons used, fonts, etc).
Either by editing the current theme of the game or adding an additional theme but setting it as default.
On top of this - I propose to make it available as a browser extension compatible for multiple browsers that can be launched by pressing the Steemit Logo, or by adding a games tab across the top of the screen where the trending, new, hot, and promoted tabs are located.
Concept Pop-Up Look.
Once clicked, a box will pop-up in-site that is non-intrusive for your Steemit browsing needs and the game will start. Players will be given an option to launch the pop-up box in a separate window for a more immersive gameplay.
Steps taken so far:
- General design look.
- Github Fork

Future Plans/Additions:
Graphics by @deveerei.
- Implementing the Design into the Code.
- Launching browser extensions.
- Launching game's own website.
- Designing more Mini Games (probably open-sourced, forked, Steemit-themed)
- Launching a Game Gallery (Proposal to Steemit Condenser Repository/standalone extension or website)
- Designing and launching own games.
- Study of the possibility of providing game rewards backed by Steem/SBD.
- Study of the possibility of launching a gaming SMT.
Those are the possible roadmaps that I have thought of. Some are big feats and may not come to fruition but if we can think it - it's possible to make it, right? I will try to form a team for this one - for now I'm looking for a developer to help me implement the codes for the OhSteem game.
A roadmap is necessary for a project, this is a rough draft but I ought to include it in this sub-project proposal for a more in-depth paper.
OhSteem may be just a small step for the gaming community but with proper planning, implementation, and support this little idea can become big. The only sad part is we can't name this project "Steam".
