Details
The Wikipedia-viewer is a project that can be used to quickly execute search queries, utilizing the Wikipedia database. All you need do is enter your search keywords in the search box and the resulting wikipedia entries will be presented before you. You can also execute a random search, something similar to google's "am feeling lucky" button on their homepage.

Benefits/improvements
The project is strongly dependent on popular Wikipedia, a free online encyclopedia where one can gain much knowledge through research materials. It was pretty obvious the direction the logo needed to face, but of course the implementation of the idea is sometimes the tricky part. My initial concept was just to design a puzzle piece,similar to the original Wikipedia logo but after designing, it didn't look unique from the original Wikipedia logo. It was at this point i decided to add the magnifying glass which also represents a search icon and everything began to look fresh. The font used on the logo made it look more cool and more linked to the original Wikipedia logo. My color choice for the logo was inspired from the original Wikipedia logo so that at the first glance, anyone looking recognizes the logo and immediately figure out what exactly the project is all about without being told.
