One more thing, seems like you’re a good person to ask. I’m still new here, is there a way to turn me current ‘password’ which is my private keys into just a typical memorized password? For all I know, that isn’t a good ide. Thanks for the help!

What you can do is go into https://busy.org or https://utopian.io and add your active or posting priv key into those apps.. Then use them and lock up your steemit account with the master password
