Bug on dtube viewer: can not like video (upvote)
Expected behavior
the "like" feature on the dtube viewer function is to vote video, or in other words to like the video, and if we press like, then we will successfully give "like" to the video we like.
Actual behavior
After I pressed on the symbol 👍(like) to give upvote, all of a sudden after I went out and open again it turned out "upvote" I have not successfully given to the video, I tried it many times still did not work.
How to reproduce
Download dtube viewer, and open it, after that, find the video you want to give "like".
Browser: dtube viewer v2.0.3
Operating system: android 5.1
Smartphone: Oppo f1s
Unfortunately, this particular contribution cannot be accepted as it doesn't discuss the actual issue occurring. Here's why.
The main purpose of this contribution is not to discuss that the upvote feature doesn't work, this isn't the case the upvotes are being successfully sent to the blockchain and the votes which you cast during your video can be seen here:
The actual issue is that the application doesn't hold the context of the vote and display this to the user following the user leaving the video, this could either be an unimplemented feature or if it's an issue which the application I believe it would be classed as cosmetic due to it not actually affecting the functionality of the application. It would be an issue which would be confusing for a user, but not an issue which effects the functionality as the vote is still cast. As per the Utopian Rules:
Cosmetic issues that do not affect the functionality of the software will not be accepted.
