Add "Desktop mode" in Duckduckgo App for Android
Components
On the internet there are some sites that may be difficult for us to access using mobile mode, there comes a time we need desktop mode to access it. But in the application duckduckgo browser this feature is not available, therefore I want to see there is a desktop mode feature in this application, so we can surf comfortably in duckduckgo.
Proposal
I want the duckduckgo app to add desktop mode features, so we can access all the sites without being constrained. I think this is how:
- Added a feature
- The developer can put anywhere as long as it is easy to find.
- After that, if the user click on the menu is "desktop mode" then the browser will directly switch from mobile mode to desktop mode.
For more details see the example below
Mockups / Examples
Before
After
Maybe this is how it looks if it has been changed to desktop mode
Benefits
The benefits with the existence of our desktop mode can access the entire site on the internet without constraints, and we can also see the entire site that is not successfully loaded by mobile mode. Like steemd.com site, this site is very difficult we access using mobile mode, so with the desktop mode will be easier for us application users.
