Standard Notes is a note taking application that puts particular emphasis on privacy & security. It is cross-platform and of course, completely open-source. It features unmatched simplicity, end-to-end encryption and powerful extensions.

Proposal

I want to suggest that the developers of this application should consider the above suggestion and add a reminder feature to Standard notes so that users can set this reminder in other to remind them of an article or event that they were suppose to attend at that particular time. It should be develop in away that each note or article that is written by the user has this feature then he/she can decide to set a reminder to it.

Benefits

This will attract more users as it will help them keep tap on upcoming and important events. Often times, people uses notes to write article on event dates such as birth dates, traveling dates and anniversary Etc. This will help notify them through a reminder alarm that they have an important event.
