[ QueryJane project ] Styles and design improvements for landing page, signup, login and forgot my password

I am very interested to collaborate to QueryJane project (queryjane.net), I would like to help to improve design and frontend architecture.

For this time I have improved some design features to have a better user experience and understand the goals for the app. I have worked on catch companies to get more offers for people that will be interested in a future for cannabis companies. Here we go:

1. Styles added to menu navigation bar and change color in main image for landing.
2. Two images for landing created.
3. Query Jane logotype color improved.
4. Augusta King foundation logo improved.
5. New design for signup, login and forgot.
6. Added new images and changes in copy for signup, login and forgot.
7. Better structure for header layout base, to be more compatible with the header in landing and the header for internal pages.

1. Styles added to menu navigation bar and change color in main image for landing

• Hover state added.
• The cannabis leaf was moved to the center to be showed in tablets and mobile device, and was applied a filter more darkness to the entire page.

2. Two images for landing created

• Two illustrations was created to explain better the connection between companies and cannbis industry.

3. Query Jane logotype color improved

• Green colors for logo and the rest of the elements for brand was changed to a green more intensive, to get more contrast with the rest of the elements.

4. Augusta King foundation logo improved

• Better contrast for Augusta King foundation logotype, before it was a combination between white and gray.

5. New design for signup, login and forgot and 6. Added new images and changes in copy for signup, login and forgot

We will migrate from bootstrap 3 to bootstrap 4, and I have started with landing, signup, login and forgot password. To get this changes without alter the rest of pages I have created new js and css files for layout too. I called new_layout.scss and new_layout.js to get bootstrap 4 files and the rest of dependencies. I have created a header for internal pages like company list and offer list: https://queryjane.net/en/jobs/, to change slowly. In the next posts we will change partially each view to new design and styles.
