Hi @juecoree, very interesting approach to look into the benefactor rewards! A few of the graphs seem to indicate connections to the user boost in mid 2017 and beginning of 2018, as well as the high Steem price around end of 2017, which could maybe partly explain engagement trends. Add some axis labels to the graphs to make them easier readable. The beneficiary system is greatly influenced by the the rise (and possibly fall) of dapps. You took a rather coarse cut to look into two periods of around 8 months. Visualizing the share of the individual dapps over time could have provided additional insights. Also, some apps switched the beneficiary accounts over time, or use more than one beneficiary per post.

You probably meant the same thing, but just to confirm: The beneficiary shares in HF20 will use the same payout settings as the author rewards, which can be either 100% SP as before or 50% SP and 50% STEEM/SBD.
