I think the captcha idea has a lot of merit. It would work to also prevent bot activity like you mention. It would also be nice for RC’s that were implemented in the HF to actually do something for those of us that don’t have <15 SP; we are swimming in it and it’s only for comments and posts now? Sounds under utilized by far!

Yeah the problem is going to be the fractional reserve we are running. Remember when they gave everyone 10x more RCs? Whelp, that's all going bye bye if all of a sudden everyone is using their RCs to transact on the blockchain. Costs will skyrocket.
It will be even worse if they implement RC pools, basically allowing big accounts to sell their excess RCs. I'm not too worried though... I think it will all be part of the natural progression of this platform.
