Task Request: Help building the foundation and Base Template for the Steemit Philippines Portal

Steem Philippines, also known as SteemPH is an organization focused on growing the Filipino Steemit Blogging Community through support and positivity and empowerment. The goal is to also help spread awareness of Steemit, Utopian.io, and other technologies and applications built on the Steem blockchain across the various regions in the Philippines where we believe the power of the Steem blockchain can do the most good.

As we continue to grow, our mission is to provide tools and resources which will help the community grow and help them better understand and utilize the technology they have available to them to prosper, grow, and drive awareness to others in the community.

This task request is the next step in our plan and is the first part of establishing a resource that will help our community grow and serve as a place where all community members can go for information and support.

In this Task Request, I am seeking help from coders and developers to help design and create a foundation homepage for the SteemPH community built on the Steem blockchain and mimics other applications such as busy.org, whaleshares.net, steemgigs.org, and other sites that allow users to connect directly to the Steem blockchain.

The existing domain https://www.steemitphilippines.com will be used and below is an example of the mockup I have created and would be potentially what I would like the site to look like.

I am seeking help, because I do not have the experience to work and build a Steem based application using Condenser and the other repositories required to build the site.

Components and How it should work

Because this is the first part of an even bigger project, I would like to start by setting up the page. My understanding is that the site should be built using Condenser, however I will leave it up to the experts to build it as they see fit.

1. Users should be able to login to the site using SteemConnect for a personalized experience.
2. Users should be able to post content directly to the Steem blockchain using the site
3. Users should be able to Sign Up and create Steem accounts through the site.
4. The site should display Featured and recent posts using the #steemph tag by default
5. The design should resemble the above mockup as much as possible, but I am also open to developers own interpretations as long as they are clean and easy to navigate
6. The logo used should be the one created by @baa.steemit who won the previous logo contest. You can find his post and logo design in the title or Here.
7. [optional] Posts created from the site should automatically be tagged with #steemph meaning content creators will have the option to add 4 more more tags of their own.

Roadmap

• Build base Homepage (beta)
• Build voter app to follow, curate, and upvote good quality content posted through the website
• Add Feature Set 1 to the Homepage (Post Categories, Calendar of Events, Personalized User Pages)
• Add Feature Set 2 to the Homepage (Hub Pages, Charity Pages, Wallet System, etc)
• Continuous maintenance and addition of other features for better user experience

Deadline

This is an open ended task request and I am constantly looking for help to build this Homepage, however I would like submissions for this specific task request to be submitted by 21 April 12:00:00 (UTC) in order for Utopian moderators consideration.
