Let me give a brief overview about this design. Phresh player is a fantastic free open source electron based media player. The original logo doesn’t look too professional, so I wanted to create a more professional looking logo for the project.

The benefit of this new logo to the project is that, the new logo feels and looks more professional and clean than the original logo, which helps to give the project a fresher new look.

Colour

I made use of a the similar colour which is green as the original so as to keep the same colour consistency as the original logo.

Conclusion

This logo design contribution was just pure creativity, there was no rule behind the design, and the aim was to create a new logo that looks more professional and clean.
