Benefits / Improvements
I combined two extremely important aspects of traveling , luggage and an airplane. Yet I kept the overall logo very minimalistic because of the use case of the actual logo (iOS app logo). The logo is still recognizable even when sized down significantly.
As requested I made use of the official steemit color and also added a hint of a gradient to give to logo some depth.
Tools
I exclusively used Adobe Illustrator for this logo proposal.

I have no skill whatsoever in doing logos xD I'm not good at drawing so that's probably why xD This logo does look cool and i especially like the part that you can scale it down and still know what logo it is.

Glad that you like it princeluv. The project owner requested to use the colors of steemit. That's why the final version is in a shade of green.
@callmefib3r I actually enjoy creating logos myself, I am not a photoshop expert, but it is fun to play around with ideas. I see that you have covered all three parts of the logo, the travel part, and the steemit part. Good one! Cheers!
Thanks a lot! If you enjoy creating logos than you shouldn't discontinue working with photoshop or illustrator. Just keep practicing and things will start to work out.
