What Will I Learn?

• You will learn the functionality of the Simple's Recorder Module

• Access to the Internet

Description

Learn the functionality of the Simple's Recorder Module

Simple Recorder module is just that; a simple recorder. Module will allow you to connect to your Rack mixer and record the sound being created within Rack. The module outputs to a 2-channel WAV file.

Learn how to avoid over writing saved music

Before recording you need to choose a file name and location. After recording some music if you click record a second time Recorder will over-write your first recording. Be careful not to erase you recordings. Be sure to select a new file name after each recording.

Learn how to arm the module to record and record

To activate the record function you first need to choose a file name and location. This can be done by clicking Select. Once this is done you need to click ARM to put the module into standby mode. You will see a flashing red light on the UI. To begin recording you need to click the RECORD button or use a trigger signal. While recording the red light will show solid.

Learn how to use a trigger to record

We can activate the Record button with a trigger signal from another device. This can be done by connecting the device to the IN on Recorder. There is an OUT for us to use to connect other Recorder modules for recording multiple tracks at the same time.
