Hello STEEMIANS, You’ve always wanted to learn how to build software yourself or just whip up an occasional script but don’t know where to start. Luckily for you, I will be taking you on every 3-day occasional tutorials that can turn you into a programmer in no time.

First thing to do:

Don’t Get Hung Up choosing a programming language, but basically we will base on C#,html, css, Asp.net and Structure Query Language (SQL) as the database.

From my research, choosing a programming language has been the common pitfall for beginners. The fact is that, there’s no one best language. What really matters is understanding the Data, Control Structure and the Programming Syntax.

Afraid of coding:

'If it doesn’t drain you, it’s not worth it'. The first time i see coding, I got scared and my emotion says, can I really do it? But thanks to my mentor, Mr. M. Olaoye, the CEO of EM & EM info tech solutions based on his question and advice.

Question 1

Do you really have passion for programming? I want to believe you’re not forcing yourself into it because your friends are doing it.

Then he said, it is really necessary for you to enjoy programming which come not by forcing yourself into it, but by exploring what it has to offer. It can become a passion if you stop treating it as things you need to do, but as something you might want to do.

Question 2

Are you doing it just for the sake of money?
The fact is programmers are highly paid, but that shouldn’t be your sole motivation. Programming is not just what you do for money sake but requires total commitment and you must be passionate about it.

I was like YES! I have passion for programming, since then have been fascinated with programming languages.

Believe me this is an avenue for you to become your dream, being a programmer is not an easy task, it has to do with how passionate and how commitment you are towards it.
