Swapsteem is a peer to peer chat server for steemians based on rocket.chat open source application.
How will you integrate security from Rocket.chat to swapsteem if there are security fixes after the fork ? Just curious.
We can always sync the enhancements from the upstream even after the fork, unless it affects our custom code. We might need some additional work to be able to be up to date with security, but it's worth the effort.
However transactions are done via steemconnect so we can say that the system is secure enough to be trusted.
