Logo proposal for "Steemit is Fun" chrome extension
Details
This is a submission to the julienbh task reqest for a logo for the "Steemit is Fun" chrome extension. The aim was to give a more modern and colorful look to resemble the extension's name.
Benefits / Improvements
The new logo still uses steem motive as one of the details. The painted additions resemble the modifications to steemit platform the plugin does. The colors were chosen for improved contrast and impact. While the logo contains lots of micro details when viewed in small sizes due to the logo main details the logo remains readable and distinguishable.
Tools
The design was done in Adobe Illustrator. The painted letter effect was drawn with pen tool and a brush effect was applied to get the painted look. A few combinations of brush patterns were used to achieve unique look. The paths were then merged. Afterwards background and gradients were added.

Thank you. The source file has the 6 versions in artboard 2. Were you referring to adding black and white / inverse versions? If so I will add them :)
