Wallet history SortingsteemCreated with Sketch.

One basic problem of the world nowadays is money, we see countries of the world in crises because leaders mismanaged funds. As a popular quote says:

Money destroys friendship

I believe steemit dev had this at the back of his mind when he built steemit in such a way that wallet transactions are visible to all. That is you can just go to a persons wallet and check through transaction made over a period of time. Screenshots below (all from steemit.com)

As much as i will support this, i have also noticed a striking challenge while going through the wallet history- there is no adequate grouping of transactions especially transfers.

My suggestions

  1. I suggest that there should be a transfer option in the wallet history where all transfers will be listed aside from rewards. This should include power down history and market history.

  2. History should be sorted or grouped by time. Take for example a screenshot from facebook app showing how facebook groups it activity log for ease of access.

Sorting by time will group transactions according to time, day or month.

  3. Memo should be visible for mobile views. Memos are not visible in mobile view.

They are only visible in the desktop view

Benefits

  • Separating the transfers from all other history will help for monitoring and accountability. In a case where the transfers are packed with the claimed rewards an all, it will be headache when you wish to find the transfers especially the old ones.

  • Sorting wallet history by time, helps for ease of access instead of having a page full of raw data, you can have grouped datas with easy access.

  • Memo being available for mobile users help those without pc, they will have their information readily on steemit instead of going through other means to find out what is on the memo.
