There is a tool for steemit that can be used as a judging criteria for contest owners or runners. There are some contests that is run and judged by criterias like, amount earned by comments, interactiveness of the comment, number of votes on the comment and the tool can help choose a random winner on the comment. The tool is on pick.esteem.ws built by good-karma
As great as this tool is, i believe there is still much improvements that can be made on it.

Suggestions

I suggeet that the details of the winning comment be added below the comment on the site. Details like, the total number of upvote on the coment, the total number of unique replies on the comment and the value of upvote on the comment. Just like when you are viewing the comment from the steemit site.

I suggest that there should be a way for the contest owner to know why the comment was choosen as the winner. I mean there should be like an heading on the winning comment to know the criteria used. Sometimes one may have chosen the criteria but forgoten the criteria chosen, the heading will help to know which criteria was used.

All time winner (ATW)

I also suggest that there be another option to choose a winning comment from the interpolation of all the criterias listed on the site, except random option. I mean that one should be able to choose a winning comment from the combination of two or more criterias. This will help when the there are situations when winning comment is more than one.

Post title

I suggest that there be the title of the post to be used visible on the site. I used stellabelle post on Here's To roxane And All The Unknown Community Builders to check the winning comments. I believe the title should be on the site especially above the winning comment.
