Widgets spanning from embedded musics and videos which allows users to get a quick glimpse of the writers opinion without being redirected to the source site. It is of great importance, as the age is now moving forward to multitasking as everyone wants their favourite tools at hand and easily accessible. These tools and widgets saves bloggers a lot of stress when working.

Coinmarketcap widget

One of the best innovation of all time is the ability of coinmarketcap to make it work into a snippet version which bloggers and onliners alike can use to express the current status of their favourite cryptos without stress of copying and pasting links which may be uneasy for their readers to visit. It helps to rule out visiting of new pages by readers who are reading articles. Sometimes it is tiring to be visiting different pages while reading an article only to understand what the article meant. Challenge is ruled out by innovative widgets like this.
The coinmarketcap widget has so many features like the current price of a particular crypto, it usd value, the market capitalisation and few others. But this can easily be improved on.

Challenge

There is no way to have quick look at the history of a crypto on the widget.

Suggestions

I suggest that coinmarket cap add a way to quickly view the history of a cruptocurrency on the widget.

On the home page of coinmarketcap, there a list of all crptos an few information about them. This includes a quick graph which shows a brief history of the cryto.

This feature can be added on the widget to give users reading articles a quick look at the market history of the crypto.

When a particular crypto is clicked, it shows a short graph of the history of the coin or token, this same feature can be added on the widget to provide more informations for users.

Android widget

I suggest that the devlopers of coinmarketcap.com design a widget for android and ios users which will allow them to view the information about their favourite coin or token without visiting the website. This widget should have a toggle switch which can be used to select different views on the app.

There should also be a drop down menu to select different coin or token to be viewed.

Benefits

• Historical graphic view on the widget will improve the quality of services provided which will definetely replace having to take a screenshot for explanations by bloggers.

• Android widget helps user to have favourite coin status at hand without visiting the website.
