This is not an Utopian Task Request. I searched open source projects on GitHub that didn't have a logo. I contacted the Project Owner and offered logo for the project as my open source contribution. After I showed my logo and did some revisions, the Project Owner decided to using my logo on the project.

Details
MELPA is Milkypostman's ELPA or Milkypostman's Experimental Lisp Package Archive. Its a project about library or package. This library or package works as an add on or plugin for Emacs, especially on Emacs Lisp packages. This package is built automatically on MELPA's server from the upstream source code using simple recipes.
This logo trying to deliver some idea about code library. Using 'M' initial element from 'MELPA' and take the 'stack' idea as symbol of code library. Then, trying to combine it uniquely.
This project didn't have any logo before, but they had their brand identity color. So, it helped me to make the same color schemes for the new logo. For the typeface and initial, I chose Rajdhani to make it corresponding.
In other color versions, I chose green and red color schemes, the most generic color schemes besides the black and white version.
Alternative Version
At the beginning, I proposed two logo designs for the project owner. They like one of them, but asked for some revisions. This logo actually use the same ideas but has different style and shape.
Benefits / Improvements
This logo proposal help the Project Owner to improve the visual and identity of this project because this project didn't have logo to help the visuality before. This logo also simple, flat, unique, and eye-catching design.
