Hi everyone.

Today my graphics contribution goes to OnionShare project, an open source tool that lets you securely and anonymously share a file of any size.

Here you can see the original Logo design:

I want to share the idea behind the drawing that I will present.
The color of the original logo is purple, so I decided to use a color palette that does not stray too far from this color scheme, but at the same time use lighter colors.
For the idea of sharing concept I decided to use two arrows pointing in opposite directions.
Let me show you some images of the creation process:

Here you can see the process of arrows creation, and the main idea for the share concept of the tool

After having the design prepared for the arrows, I opted for making cuts and adjustments and reversed the direction testing all the perspectives.
By reversing the direction of the arrows, I can also use the arrows as being the letter "S" for Share, and creating an ellipse for the letter "O" of Onion.

After trying out and testing the most varied designs and layouts, I chose to go back to the main idea and create a shadow and contrast effect on the arrows.

To finish, I created the letters with some small details and prepared their applicability for light and dark backgrounds.
