Hi everyone

For my contribution to Utopian.io i decided to do an animated motion wallpaper based in the new Utopian logo with the keywords "Open Source Economy" accurate words to define this project.
I believe that this kind of material is very important to disseminate the brand and the idea of the project.

Getting Started

I always like to plan all the steps from the beginning to the final result, and for that i usually follow this steps:

• The Idea
  A design and concept that I have not seen much around design category, so i came with some kind of annimated banner that i prefer to call of an animated motion wallpaper.
• Researching styles
  After some research, i decided to use the Utopian logo in a different animated way and style along with an animated tech background.
• Process
  Here i start with some technique details.
  For this project i use Photoshop
  The animated background was downloaded from Vivedo
  According with the Videvo Standard License
  Usage: All projects and media.

I started by creating a new project:
File | New : 1000x500 px and insert the original Png Utopian logo file.
Then i started by remove some areas from the inside of the logo, with some tools like:
Quick Mask Mode and Polygonal Lasso Tool and Pen Tool

After having all the inside removed, i keep only the lines delimiting the logo area.
Then in the top menu:
Image | Adjustements | Desaturate - Opacity 75%

Inserting the video:
File | Import | Video frames to layers
Import the desired selected frames, resize and link all the frames in a created group folder:

Create a smooth frame sequence in the timeline by lower the opacity of the last layers 10% by 10% by activating the first layers to the same extent.
Apply gradient overlay with the official theme colors of Utopian
Top menu Layer | Layer Style | Gradient Overlay

Create a new layer with some geometric shapes, keep each shape in individual layer to allow to move those shapes along the time line:
Agroup the shapes in a group folder to

With Type Tool create and position the keywords and create an animation with layers

The animated process is just me moving things arround in just one time layer.

I´m always open to constructive criticism, so after this contribution i went into Utopian Discord channel and searched for some feedback, and @scipio came with a very pertinent observation:
"from a design perspective, it's best to not change the color scheme of the logo" - thanks for your feedback mate, i really appreciate ;) i will always try new styles,but keep also the original will always be taken into consideration from now on.
So i decided to update this contribution with this new version
