Bug 102: Post tags are not responding!

in #utopian-io6 years ago

Project Information

Expected behavior

After clicking on the tags it should show the specific tags result.

Actual behavior

When user click on the tags it's not showing the specific tags result and not doing anything at all.

How to reproduce

  • Download and install Steemia from Google play store

  • Login with your Steemit account.

  • Go to any post and then try to click on the tags.

  • As you want to see a specific tag from a post without searching. Steemia app doesn't show any kind of result for that.

  • In the recording video I've showed that how exactly it should work. It may help you understand the issue.

  • App version: Steemia v0.0.4

  • Operating system: Android 7.0

Thanks for your report. While this is not an issue, it will not be accepted. This is more likely a suggestion instead of a bug: This area is not clickable by default in our app. Even though in Steemit it is possible, both are different platforms that cannot be compared each to the other.

Filtering by tags is already developed but the update has not been sent yet. Also, even in the next update, this area is not clickable yet. Hence, it is more a suggestion than a bug report.

Thank you for your response.
Sorry for the category mistake. But now can I use this idea as suggestion with a new recording? Or I need other suggestion ideas rather than this one?

Not sure, I am not a Utopian Moderator but I believe they will not accept it since it is a trivial suggestion.

Thank you very much for your responses. I will try to find good content to post next time.

Thanks for your contribution.

Thanks for confirming this @jaysermendez I believed this was the case although I believed you would either comment on the issue or post so thought it was worth waiting.

As mentioned by the project owner, this is not an expected behaviour of the application and therefore cannot be classed as a bug and therefore is not a suitable contribution to the bug-hunting category.

It's important to not let the features which other applications affect your judgement of bugs in another application, one application feature set should not dictate that another has a bug, this is because applications differ in their stage of development and you will see similar things such as this across a wide selection of applications.

Once again, thanks for contributing to Utopian and I look forward to your next contribution.
