SteemMakers logo & banner design contest #1
FIRST OF ALL I'D LIKE TO APOLOGIZE FOR MY ENGLISH.
(It's not my main language)
This is my entry for SteemMakers Logo and Banner contest.
My main idea for this creation was to integrate something close to a blockchain into the Logo and banner so I created my list of devices that could create a blockchain network and started working on the items.
I wanted to integrate all the devices that could actually acces Steem from the oldest to the newest.
I picked even the old phones because some of them had internet like the 2G where you were using WAP internet or something like that or 3G which was pretty fast even on the old phones. I added one of the first PCs I had then a new generation which had the desktop near the PC, a smartphone and a tablet, pretty soon we'll be able to acces even with a smartwatch.
Same idea was applied to the banner, blockchain, but this time I wanted to integrate using STEAMMAKERS inside the banner so I created this.
You can check both the Logo and Banner on my profile, I am using them until @steemmakers sees this post, after that I'll remove them.
Now for the website i tryed to add the logo on 2 different possitions, 1st one is kinda weird on the 2nd one it looks much better.
1st one. The logo in the upper bar pretty small.
2nd one. On the middle of the page to welcome your users.

The banner and the logo took me like 2 hours or so, I am not a designer so it's not really that much of a design but I had fun working on it.

I am working on something closer to a hub type of logo.

This is an interesting concept, and to try and improve the clarity of the letters 'S' and 'M' you'll want to make sure that the they stand out and are not obscured by the blue lines which are much easier to see.

thank you for your contest entry. Don't apologize for your English, it's perfectly understandable. I do like a couple of aspects in your design. It has some nice touches. I'm not too fond of the several devices in the logo, but even without those it looks good. I do like the smaller icons in the banner, but I think it should be other icons. That just my opinion, you don't have to rework it ;-)

Done, changed the GitHub link, and added another GitHub link at the end of the post with the .Ai files and .png. I'll think of a few more designs maybe I'll join again with a few other.

@ady-was-here - some really nice concepts here, and it's great that you have displayed it as the account avatar and banner so it is easy to see what it will look like. I have scattered comments/feedback where appropriate to help you consider some potential options :) With the logo concept I remember jefpatat saying that it shouldn't be biased towards a particular area (e.g. electronics, woodwork, metalwork, etc. so even though your use of the computer hardware isn't intended for that purpose it might give people that impression). The banner design is excellent, and if you can adjust it a little bit so that the whole word steemmakers is visible that would be great!
Thank you, my main idea was to tell people that you can acces steemit/steemmakers with any device, I'll try to make more concepts today and next week, but during the week it's harder I work 8-10 hours/day once I get home it's pretty hard to have an idea for a design.

The Steemmakers word is visible it depends on your resolution on 1920x1080 is completely visible, I'll try to move everything in center for people with lower resolution closer to 1366x768
@ady-was-here - there is at least two weeks for you to work on the logo design so no rush. Besides you do get rewards for posting it on utopian.io anyway. FYI I was viewing the banner on a lower resolution screen so that's probably why the whole work didn't come up.
