[#roadmap2018] My Idea For Steemit Improvements (Part-1)
According to the question of @steemitblog on November 17, 2017, which is: What would you like Steemit to make a priority for 2018?
So, here are my suggestions (idea) to be developed and realized by @steemit, in 2018:
A. Internationalize Steemit.com
For this case, I'd like to suggest two points :
Consider to use sub-domain address in each country, where steemit has their ambassadors, curators or representatives of other forms, to make steemit more visible by the citizen of the country and closer to its users over there. For example in my country (Indonesia), can be used https://id.steemit.com.
If the point #1 above couldn't possible to be implemented, consider to put steemit project to crowdin, especially the steemit landing page and also its F.A.Q, so all the community (by country) around the world can participate to translate it, in order to make native user in another country (non-english) more familiar with this platform .
B. Feature Request
1. Add User's Post Archives by Tag & by Year Widget
For more information about this feature, please refer to this Wordpress Plugin. The result maybe will be shown as follow:
2. Add Pinned Post
For more detail about this feature plese refer to steemit.caht, twitter, telegram or discord tools. With this tool, user can keep showing an important post whenever he/she wants.
For example, if I want my on post last month keep visible on the top until now, I just clink the pin button, then the post will show on the top of the newest post (see the screenshot below).
3. Auto Translate Post
This feature can be implemented by using Google Translate or Bing API. For example please refer to twitter or facebook.
It would help users to keep reading any post in different languages.
