VJTI Survival Kit

I have been studying (Btech) in Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (in Mumbai, India) since 4 years now, and their unique way of calculating score has most of the students confused about exactly how they'll get their grades. So they are forced to calculate their score again and again to plan ahead, as there are no good solutions available online which works on all the platforms available. So I decided to fix that by creating a CPI (GPA) calculator using Angular PWA so that it works on all the platforms which supports browsers. In the process of building the project, I though why stop at just a calculator, why not make a full fledged suite of tools which solves all the tedious jobs we had to do? And hence VJTI Survival Kit.

What is VJTI Survival Kit?

Suite of tools which will make students life a bit easier.

Survive the harsh biomes of VJTI with your own survival kit, with all the tedious jobs you need to do along with studies, VJTI kit (for short) helps you with a suite of tools which will make your life a bit easy. No ads, no fees, no register to use bs. Simply use what you want whenever you want, totally offline.

Objective

• Provide a set of tools for students at VJTI which is freely available without any registration, ads walls.
• To build a solution on which other developers can collaborate and make it better.

Technology Stack

VJTI Kit Client is made using,

• Angular 7

VJTI Kit Server is made using,

• Python Flask
• Heroku: Cloud Application Platform

Features

• Report Card, create a report card for yourself to keep your scores in check and to plan ahead.
• Grade Calculator, calculates grade for a subject, contains a form for input and displays output in text

• Create QR Scanning link opener feature.
• Add HTTPS option which redirects to herokuapp link.

• Text book and Reference book library feature.

How to contribute?

You can contribute this project by,

• Using the the solution and creating issue when any bug is encountered.
• Helping me in the development by bug squashing or developing new features. (If you want to do this, contact me so that we can collaborate.)
