Telegram: The most advanced open source messaging client that is freely distributed (Part 4)
Today, I’ll love to introduce more features which I omitted in my previous article.
Without doubts, the telegram messaging client is a fast-growing messaging platform with tremendous features yet to be seen on its alternatives. These features are outstanding and extreme, and it is what makes telegram messaging client a major contender for the top spot.
We are gifted with various platforms in the market, and its even a bigger deal when it comes to the features, especially when it has to do with messaging clients. Some platforms are freely distributed and open source, while some are commercial or closed source.
What makes open source application to be more preferable, is it customizable nature and this puts it in the hands of not only one but several teams of expert developers to tweak it toward the desires of users.
For the fact that my series is based on open source projects, I believe it would’ve been proper to make a concise introduction on open source projects and its ideas before proceeding to different reviews on projects.
Steemit is filled with people from all corners of the world, and to some, it might be strange hearing the word open source for the first time.
Before I begin to write this article, I will make a proper introduction on what open source project is all about and what makes it a better alternative to close source projects.
Open source projects are safe bets if you’re willing to have something that is secured, transparent and customizable. This fact alone makes it highly reliable over its contemporaries.
Open source projects are packed with incredible features that are highly customizable, it tremendous reputation proofs that open source projects run smoothly with extremely designed features. When it comes to efficiency, open source project goes all out as well.
THE DEFINITION OF OPEN SOURCE PROJECTS
An open source project is one whose source code is freely distributed to the public for modifiaction by developers or anyone who has the technical knowledge to modify and adjust it as he deems fit. They are the results of public collaborations, and it is made available for public consumption.
Open source is a certification trademark that is own by OSI (open sprobe initiative).
A project that is developed with a clause that enables it to be freely distributed, customized and enhanced is allowed to use this trademark.
CLAUSES THAT MUST BE HONORED BY OPEN SOURCE DEVELOPERS
Before the open source initiative trademark is allowed on any project, the project must meet the necessary terms and conditions which I’ll mention below
The project developed must be redistributed to everyone. That is, its source code must be made available to everyone without any restrictions.
The project’s license must accommodate enhancement and modifications. It must be distributed under the same terms and conditions as that of the original license.
When it comes to users in different fields and endeavors, they must be no restrictions, and the project rights must cover everyone without any need to establish a new license for new parties.

DRAFT
If you are the type that had synchronized all his accounts on multiple devices, then, this is an excellent feature for you.
Unlike other alternatives, telegram messaging client draft feature works automatically. It allows users to initiate a message on one device and continue it on another device.
Honestly, I have not experienced this feature and that is because my account is only synced on one device.
I see no need why I should synchronize my account on all my devices but if eventually I get to do so, then I'll be pleased to try it out.
STICKERS
Stickers are the trending features seen on most applications this days, and if you've noticed, WhatsApp messaging application has integrated it on their latest update.
Telegram messaging client stickers are cloud-based, and its an expressive way to integrate emotions within conversations.
Telegram messaging client stickers are designed in a way that whenever a user intends to use an emoji during a conversation, he is automatically presented with an alternative which is displayed in form of a sticker.
For me, I prefer stickers because it is an upgraded version of emojis. Most of my conversations are filled with stickers, and my favorite of them all is the babe from the movie titled BOSS BABY.
SAVED MESSAGES
Prior to the fact that I have used various commercial and open source messaging clients, the saved messages feature is an outstanding feature that has helped me countless times.
Saved messages features is another way to secure a back up of your necessary files such as messages, media files and documents, and In a situation where the initial device is stolen, these files can be accessed on other devices.
Most of my documents are stored within telegram messaging client because, I am sure that my files are safe and I can access it on other devices just like in the case of Gmail drafts.
CONCLUSION
Telegram messaging client is a wonderful application that should be supported, and at the pace in which the developers are working, telegram messaging client will surely sore to an unimaginable heights.
The draft feature is really necessary on any platform, and I'm grateful for its integration on this platform. I believe users are thrilled by it.
Stickers are a good way to express ourselves to others, I use it a lot, and i can say that it is the best and coolest way to spice up a conversation with your love ones.
Saved messages guarantees the safety of your file and messages. I use this feature a lot so it is trust worthy and save to try out.
