Utah's Jordan River
Utah's Jordan River flows from Utah Lake to the Great Salt Lake. It was named after the Jordan River in the Middle East which runs from the Sea of Galilee to the Dead Sea.
This is one of the primary tributaries of the Great Salt Lake. The county recently restored the wetlands around the river and then started developing apartment complexes adjacent to the wetlands. I guess the thought is that people in apartments like being bit by mosquitoes.
The county also ran a line of the Trax train along the river. The second picture shows one of the new Stack n Pack Apartments:
