ok suddenly I realized that I may be completely wrong and this is not about MY followers but the ones I follow lol.. I started on steemit following everyone (what was I thinking!!) and somewhere earlier this year I deleted hundreds of them.. going through like 50 a day checking if they were active or if our interests were the same.. but I stopped after deleting several hundred accounts.. better start again soon I guess lol
