US police kill 400 people a year
American police target blacks
According to FBI data, US police kill 400 people each year. At least one person is killed by a United States police officer. On average, US police kill 400 people each year in the United States, according to a seven-year FBI study. In 2012 police were responsible for killing 410 people, and firearms were used in the killings.
The study reported that one quarter of these incidents are annual white police officers, and black victims with an average of 96 people. The report follows the justified killings between 2005 and 2012. About one-fifth of the black victims were under 21 years old at 18 percent, and the deaths of under 21-year-olds were 8.7 percent. The FBI report came amidst a wave of protests in the United States after the jury did not criminalize white officer Daren Wilson, who killed Black Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri.
His death sparked outrage. These figures reflect racial discrimination between whites and blacks that still prevail in the United States. Some said Brown had been preparing to rob a shop, and his friends and witnesses said the murder had done nothing to prevent Brown and his friends from obeying the orders of the policeman. To kill him immediately.
