US Creating New Areas of Conflict: Ex-CIA Officer

  A former American counter-terrorism specialist and military intelligence officer of the CIA says the United States is creating new areas of conflict that did not exist before. Philip Giraldi made the remarks in an interview with Press TV on Friday while commenting on US President Donald Trump’s plan to establish a Space Force and authorizing the use of “offensive” cyber force against foreign hackers. According to Deputy Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan, a legislative proposal for the establishment of the Space Force will be submitted to Congress by the Pentagon in February next year, a project that would add a sixth branch to America’s massive military and fulfill Trump’s wish to seek US dominance in space.
