Memorial day.

A day cunningly set aside to honor those who lost their lives in the service of the warlords, who, to augment their own power, wealth, and glory, stirred up strife with competing warlords and then seduced or coerced their own subjects into pointless orgies of death, destruction, and every species of crime against their fellow human beings. People's capacity to worship, serve, and play the patsy for the warlords seems to have almost no limit. Glorifying the unnecessary "sacrifices" men have made in the course of this endless, savage madness only strengthens and perpetuates it.

Blessed are the peacemakers. Turn away from those whose vile machinations lead only to death and destruction for everyone outside their evil precinct of power. Don't play their game. And never, never lay your children down on their altar.
