Harvard University to face Lawsuit by Jewish Students
A group of Jewish students has filed civil rights lawsuit against Harvard University. According to several members of the group, they have been exposed to a strong, hostile, and antisemitic environment which gets worsened since the war began between Israel and Hamas.
“Mobs of pro-Hamas students and faculty have marched by the hundreds through Harvard’s campus, shouting vile antisemitic slogans and calling for death to Jews and Israel,” according to the lawsuit.
The students have informed that the mobs forcefully captured the university’s buildings, classrooms and student lounges to promote violence against Jews.
The members of Students Against Antisemitism, Inc. have reportedly alleged that the university did not take any preventive measure to stop the harassment and assault against Jewish students.
The U.S. Department of Education has already warned all the colleges and universities saying that the department would stop granting federal money if they failed to combat antisemitism and Islamophobia.
The university has not made any public statement yet but according to insider, Harvard has taken disciplinary action related to pro-Palestinian activities against several students.
Education Secretary Miguel Cardona met with the Jewish students at Harvard University on Wednesday and assured them saying, they should not feel unsafe on the university campus.
We are now waiting for Harvard University to release an official statement regarding the civil rights lawsuit.

হারবার্ড ইউনিভার্সিটি সম্পর্কে আমি গুগলে পড়েছিলাম। তবে এই ইউনিভার্সিটি সম্পর্কে আমার তেমন একটা ধারণা নেই। আজকে আপনার পোস্ট পরিদর্শন করতে গিয়ে হার্বার ইউনিভার্সিটি বর্তমান সময়ে, ইহুদি ছাত্রদের অনেক খারাপ কার্যকলাপের কারণে মামলার মুখোমুখি হয়েছে।
আপনার পোস্ট পড়ে আরো জানতে পারলাম। বর্তমান সময়ে এই ইহুদি কিছুর স্টুডেন্ট আইনত ব্যবস্থার মধ্যে রয়েছে। আসলে ফিলিস্তিনের যেই যুদ্ধটা বর্তমানে চলছে। সেখানে আমাদের মনে হয় ইহুদীদের হাত অনেক বেশি ভূমিকা রয়েছে। ধন্যবাদ আপনাকে চমৎকার বিষয় এবং অজানা তথ্য আমাদের সাথে শেয়ার করার জন্য। আশা করি হারবার্ড ইউনিভার্সিটি খুব তাড়াতাড়ি মামলার মুখোমুখি থেকে নিজেদেরকে সরিয়ে নিয়ে আসতে পারবে। ভালো থাকবেন।
হারবার্ড ইউনিভার্সিটি যদি প্রথম থেকেই কড়া পদক্ষেপ নিতো তাহলে তাদের মামলার মুখোমুখি হতে হতো না। আমেরিকার শিক্ষা দপ্তর ইতিমধ্যেই সমস্ত কলেজ এবং বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গুলিকে সতর্ক করে দিয়েছে যে তারা যদি জাত-পাতের নামে এই বিদ্বেষ বন্ধ করতে না পারে তাহলে এরপর থেকে আর সরকারী অনুদান পাবে না।
