The USA is primarily an idea.

It has flickered sporadically through small groups and special individuals in varying circumstances in different states and territories and overseas over the years from 1776 until now. Our founders conceived of this idea from honoured and treasured first principles, the primary one being that we are endowed with inalienable rights by our creator. Most of us know them by heart.

But our history is generally a travesty of manipulation of power by plutocrats over the common man through war, genocide, propaganda, corruption and chicanery. In other words in spite of the fine principles upon which we were founded our country has consistently succumbed to the inherent corruption of man. Mankind is by nature a self serving, narcissistic, pleasure worshipping species and these attributes are exacerbated with possession of power. It is commonly understood by the independent masses of the working productive middle class American that politicians are in fact the dregs of society and an honourable one is as rare as a diamond in the rough.

Because of the principles on which we were founded we have come closer to allowing freedom of movement and the pursuit of economic opportunity and the freedom to worship as we please, or not worship at all, to a greater degree than any nation in history. People from other nations know this and risk their lives to get here. But the enemies of the American ideal, foreign and domestic, are legion. I don't know where to begin. So I won't. I will just say that they have finally coalesced into a united and formidable force under a puppet they installed as our "leader" in 2020. It has never been worse.
