That picture of the ladder is great. It is something most people that have walked up rickety stairs with no sides have visualized.

When I see all those stray bricks on the ground in a way I think how something decrepit like that should be kept in its state for posterity. But then again I think how nice those would look lining my flower beds. I guess there is a natural human need to clean up and beautify.
