There are 245,000 accounts on steemit and he is helping maybe 500 to this date. So your argument is completely invalid. Sorry. He is not draining the reward pool. You might consider it cheating a little bit, but after all this community is about helping each other grow. It is much better for everyone if we have more medium accounts than having a few whales and the rest are hopeless minnows.

Do you really think that the whales take the time to read and upvote quality content everyday? They can only give tiny fractions of their votingpower or they will end up giving like 20 or 40$ per upvote. So they would need to upvote like 200-300 posts per day to get their voting power to 80%. I personally do not know many whales, besides hendrikdegrote and some few others that do that every day.
So what the whales end up doing mostly is upvoting themselves and giving the rest in big upvotes to only a few lucky writers. And that is bul.lshit and draining the reward pool with no benefit for the community.
So in conclusion having many medium accounts and lesser whales is better for a healthy and growing community which benefits everyone. That is what @worldclassplayer is doing, growing the medium userbase a little bit everyday.
Are we here for the whales? Is this what you are saying?
No, because they do not need us at all. I am just trying to lessen the gap in between by promoting minnow growth rather than whalegrowth.
