Beautiful place indeed, but far far away from India. The first place you named Kirkstone pass, looks similar to the Kinnaur-Spiti or the Ladakh region of India. These are the kind of cold deserts in the himalayan region of India.
You may like to see a beautiful lake amidst such sandy slopes of mountains.
