UPTET (Teacher Eligibility Test) 2018 - Latest News

Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) to select the eligible candidates. The applicant who desires for a Government Teaching job, it is must for them to have UPTET Certificate. UPBEB releases UPTET application form every year for the selection of the Primary (Class I to V) and Upper Primary Level ( VI to VIII) Teachers schools of the Uttar Pradesh.

UPTET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to read the complete notification before filling the application form to understand the eligibility in a better way. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria should not apply for UPTET 2018 otherwise their application shall be rejected. The eligibility criteria are as follows.

For Primary Teacher: Candidates should have passed Class 12th with min. 50% and should have completed or appearing in 2 years U.P. D.El.Ed.

For Upper Primary Teacher: Candidates should have passed Graduation with min. 50% and should have completed or appearing in 2 years U.P. D.El.Ed.
