Why not Chromium? It is opensource, and Chrome is based of it. Chrome is not open and could have additional spyware from Google built in.
No, it won't happen just relax. You can try as long as it is connected with the name GOOGLE that's what everybody trusts.
I am not sure Google should be getting any bigger, not using their browser is a small step in that direction. If we all use the same browser, it become a danger and it goes against diversity and creativity
Are you serious? Same browsers? No way, Google is not same bro... There is huge difference between Google chrome or any other browser that you think can compete Chrome. Not even 1%. Google is fast, secure and best for web designers and developers around the world.
As soon there is competition people will decide.
