That's fine. There is a purpose for the comments that ultimately led people to the project to help new users and growth on the platform.

So if you do not want to support community growth, you're fine to leave the flags. We will continue to build and guide new users on this platform

    It wasn't a spam message. Could you imagine what Steem comments would look like if the community didn't react at all against automated promotional comments? Thank you for stopping them.
